By registering for, enrolling in, or participating in any online course, training, program, webinar, or digital product (“Course(s)”) offered by Commonwealth Autism Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Acknowledgment of Participation
I understand that participation in the Course is voluntary and that I am solely responsible for how I use the information, strategies, and materials provided.
2. No Professional or Medical Advice
I acknowledge that the Course content is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, therapeutic, behavioral, or clinical advice. I agree to consult appropriate licensed professionals before implementing any recommendations.
3. Assumption of Risk
I understand that applying course content may involve personal, behavioral, or environmental risks. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any outcomes, including injury, loss, or damage resulting from my participation.
4. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge Commonwealth Autism Services, its owners, employees, contractors, instructors, affiliates, and partners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of my participation in the Course, including but not limited to:
Property damage
Physical or emotional injury
Financial or business loss
Misuse or misunderstanding of course content
This release applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. No Guarantees
I understand that Commonwealth Autism Services does not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or success from participating in the Course.
6. Intellectual Property
I agree not to share, reproduce, distribute, or resell any course materials without written permission. All content is protected by copyright.
7. Technology & Access
I understand that I am responsible for my own internet connection, equipment, and ability to access and view digital materials. Commonwealth Autism Services is not liable for interruptions, delays, or technical issues.
8. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Commonwealth Autism Services from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from my actions, misuse of materials, or violation of this agreement.
9. Binding Agreement
This Waiver is binding on myself, my family, heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. By registering for the Course, I agree that any dispute, claim, or legal action arising out of or relating to this Agreement or my participation in the Course shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts. I voluntarily submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts, regardless of the state or country in which I reside or participate in the Course.
